The Adair County ISU Extension and Outreach Office is holding multiple childcare trainings and receiving credits. 

The first training is “Food Safety Escape Challenge,” to begin on Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Greenfield City Hall. This training will explore safety topics including potentially hazardous food, cleaning and the proper temperatures for certain foods. 

Participants that finish this free class will receive two hours of credit for childcare license renewal approved by Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The next class will be on April 21st that’s called “Gardening with Children.” For more information on how to register visit here.
