If you missed the Friday performance of the spring musical at Perry High School, there are a few more chances today.
The Perry Drama and Music Department is presenting “Anything Goes” at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Perry Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available either online or at the door and are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
The musical tells the story of Reno Sweeney who is on her way from New York to England aboard the S.S. American. Cast member Molly Moorhead describes what you can expect from the musical.
“My favorite way to describe the musical is just saying, ‘love triangle on a boat’ to put it in the simplest words. It’s so much more than that with all its humor and in between scenes with gangsters and singing and dancing and love mostly. I think it’s just really fun and the musical is definitely enjoyable and tap dancing has been a lot of fun.”
