Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center’s Head Track and Field Coach continues to progress with his runners early into this season.

Head Coach Colin Shawgo says they have a very young team but work really hard to get better.

“It’s really easy to see that improvement take place as they start to compete against other varsity people at practice. Our upper level girls, our seniors and juniors are doing a good job of bringing them into the fold and getting them acclimated to a varsity season. Varsity practices. And so with the uptick in intensity at practice and with, I would argue, more quality workouts, we are seeing a lot of improvement from our younger girls and they have a ton of potential.”

Shawgo adds that it is all about getting the younger athletes to see their potential in the program.
