Thursday, March 31st
11:28am: Officers were requested at the office of the Greene County High School, located at 1901 North Grimmell Road. Officers arrived and were advised of suspicions of an intoxicated staff member. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Peyton Michael Paddock, 24 of Jefferson for, “Public Intoxication – Simple and OWI 1st Offense – Serious.”
5:50pm: A Traffic Stop at Cedar and Madison Streets resulted in Jennie Schuttler of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
5:56pm: Wilmer Augular reported he had located a handgun, located inside the wall at 911 West State Street, Apt.2. The loaded .22 Caliber Revolver was hid in a plumbing access for the bathtub of the apartment. Officers took possession of the firearm for destruction, as it appeared to have been there for several years.
6:34pm: Officers were sent to 103 East Monroe Street for a Fight in Progress in the back yard. The officer spoke to both parties involved, who neither would cooperate with criminal charges. A male subject was allowed to leave the area, diffusing the issue.
6:35pm: Joe Pittman advised of debris in the roadway in the 100 Block of North Grimmell Road.
7:02pm: Adrianna Vargas reported a Stray Dog in the 100 Block of North Grimmell Road. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.
8:23pm: A Traffic Stop in the 900 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Cole Jennett of Madrid being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
