DCG Mustangs spring athletics will be very busy these next couple of days, as a lot of teams will be competing in various events.

Dallas Center – Grimes boys soccer will be having their opening night of soccer when they take on the Ballard Bombers on the road, as DCG will be looking for a strong start to the season after a state semifinal appearance from a year ago. The match tonight will be played at 5:30.

The girls team will be having an invitational tomorrow when they play in a couple of games, first a rematch from the 2021 state championship against Waverly – Shell Rock, and then they play Urbandale, with both games to be at Urbandale High School.

The track and field teams will be hosting one of their biggest meets of the season when they host multiple schools at DCG High School. They will be seeing some of the state’s best against all classes in the event, and hope for a strong showing. The meet will begin at 11:15.

DCG athletics will look for a strong showing this upcoming weekend, as the spring athletic season continues to kick into full swing.
