Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center girls track and field competed Tuesday in Des Moines for the first time outdoors.
AC/GC was in the field with three other teams Baxter, Des Moines Christian and Colfax-Mingo. The Lady Chargers placed as a team fourth. Collecting first place medals were Ava Campbell in the 800 meter run along with the 4×200 meter relay team with Hannah Muller, Chloe Largent, Anaston Benson and Emilee Sargent. The following events took second place in the meet that include Saige O’Brien in the 100 meter hurdles, the AC/GC 4×200 meter relay team and the 4×100 shuttle hurdle run.
