The Panora City Council met Monday.
The Council held a public hearing and approved the plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated the cost for the proposed Jackson Street Improvement project at around 1.32 million. Then the Council denied a bid and the contract for the Jackson Street Improvement project. The Council rejected the bid because it was roughly $800,000 over the proposed estimated cost for the project
Finally, the Council approved the sale of a police vehicle and other equipment on Gov. Deals and approved Erin Bendickson as a member of the Park and Recreation Board.
