Eight girls reported for golf practice at Greene County High School and only three of the girls are returning letter winners. Coach Josh Carlson hopes all eight stay out and he outlines his goals for the upcoming season with Raccoon Valley Radio. “If we can play strong at Conference (Heart of Iowa Activities Conference) and if I can just see our scores improve, I would be happy. We have several newcomers mixed in with the three returning letter winners, who I hope to see lower scores from them as well. If we can keep it consistent and continuously get better and better, those are my goals right now.”
The Rams are scheduled to open the season on Monday, April 4 vs. the Carroll Tigers are Carroll Municipal Golf Course. The Greene County boys are scheduled to host Carroll on April 4 at Jefferson Community Golf Course.
