A program is coming up soon with the Dallas County Health Department to talk about keeping children safe from abuse.

The Dallas County Health Department and the Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Center are partnering together to hold a free workshop that will give adults accurate information about the sexual development of children, helping adults develop skills and comfort to respond to kids’ questions and promote healthy behaviors.

The workshop is for parents, grandparents, teachers, caretakers and any adult who works with children. This will be a two hour workshop held from 9-11 a.m. April 11th at the Dallas County Human Services Campus in Adel. Registration is required to attend.
