Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library is providing technology to the community to stay connected.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins says they recently received mobile hotspots that can be  checked-out at the library. Hawkins hopes people take advantage of the three hotspots they have for use.

So the kids can stay up on their schoolwork or whatever. If you’re on a trip and need to take (mobile hotspot) on the road so they can stay connected and get their schoolwork done. It’s a great way to do that.”

Hawkins adds a mobile hotspot that uses data from a cellular provider to give internet access for phones, computers, tablets, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices.
