The Dallas County Board of Supervisors discussed the employee performance review process at their regular meeting Tuesday.

Human Resources Director Beth Deardorff recommended moving the performance review process to the fall instead of conducting it in the spring. Deardorff says the reason would be to know what an employee’s potential pay increase would be heading into the budgeting process and the Board was in agreement of making that change.

The Board then held a public hearing regarding the Dallas Soil and Conservation District wetland easement regarding a permanent easement which the supervisors did not approve as they were not in agreement with having the easement be permanent. The Board agreed to keep the public hearing open.

The Board then entered into a closed session to discuss pending litigation.
