The Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce is having a community event with ticket deadlines coming up soon. 

The Celebrate Guthrie Center event is on April 8th but those interested will need to reserve a ticket for $25 by this Friday. Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce President Shannon Neff-Muell tells Raccoon Valley Radio the details of the community event. . 

“And it’s an opportunity for people in the community to hear about what some of the organizations in town are up to. We’ll have updates from obviously the Chamber of Commerce, Guthrie Center Revitalization, Main Street Guthrie Center, AC/GC (Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center) Schools, the City (of Guthrie Center), the development group as well as the Little Charter Early Learning Center, and the all-school reunion.”

The event will take place at the Guthrie Activity Center at 5:30pm April 8th. The tickets can be purchased at Guthrie County State Bank in Panora and Guthrie Center and People’s Bank in Guthrie Center. A dinner is included in the purchase of a ticket.
