There are many players who go on from playing for the Panorama Panthers sports programs to college programs, and one such player’s actions sent her team to National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women’s Basketball Championship game today.

Beckman averages 12.8 points per game this season on a 36.3-percent field goal percentage and an outstanding 37.1-percent three-point percentage for the Defenders.

The Defenders found themselves in the NAIA Championship game today after taking on the The Masters University Mustangs in the quarterfinal round which saw them win by a score of 72-56. Beckman contributed 12 points in that victory.

The Defenders then took on the Southeastern University Fire in the semifinal round. In what would be a close game throughout the contest was decided by just one of Beckman’s 10 points throughout the contest. Beckman would hit a free throw with seconds left in the game to close out the victory for the Defenders 53-52 and send them on to the NAIA Championship game.

Beckman spent her time on the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team that saw her score double digit points per game in each season she played and those teams she played on won double digit games each season. Beckman left Panorama as the all-time leader in scoring as well as the all-time leader in three-pointers made with 1,579 and 144 respectively as well as them most points in a game at 34. Beckman is now second all-time in those records behind her sister Payton Beckman who just completed her senior year basketball season.
