The outdoor track and field season for the Greene County girls and boys is almost here. The first scheduled meet is Monday, March 28 at Linduska Field in Jefferson at the Greene County Early Bird Coed Meet.

Boys’ head coach Chad Morton is confident in the training his team has done to prepare for the season. “We’re far ahead of where we were four years ago. I made some contrast and compare with our 2020 class and our immediate class right now that are freshmen and we have more guys that are freshmen running faster than those guys in 2020 sophomores. Overall, I fell very comfortable with what we’re doing with our training and how we’re getting kids ready to go.”
