The Perry City Council will hold multiple public hearings at their regular meeting tonight.

The Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2023 budget and then look to approve it in a subsequent item and also hold a public hearing on an application for a community development block grant. 

The Council will consider approving the updated community development and housing needs assessment, the submittal of a community development block grant to the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the creation of the downtown Perry upper story housing pilot program.

Also, the Council will consider approving a public hearing date for a voluntary annexation, the Streateries/Parklets program and an application for assistance and training contract with the Iowa Workforce Training and Economic Development.

Finally, the Council will consider multiple easements and the purchase of land in Dallas County and an ordinance amending the code of ordinance relating to driveway entrances, driveways and driveway extensions.
