The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The Council will consider for approval a development agreement of a Community Development Block Grant for $435,000 between the City and Jefferson City View Estates, while also considering approving a forgivable loan in the same amount. Additionally, they will consider an Iowa Economic Development Authority development agreement and forgivable loan of $500,000 between the City and Pub Adventures for property located at 123 North Chestnut Street, along with a certificate of compliance for a CDBG Procurement Stands.
The Council will also consider for approval an engineering services agreement for design and construction of a new hangar at the municipal airport and authorization to sign with the Federal Aviation Administration for the proposed project. The Council will consider appointing Hollie Roberts to the Library Board of Trustees, waiving the review of a plat of survey within two miles of city limits and consider approving the city’s insurance policy.
