A fundraiser for a Greene County town is tomorrow.
Everyone is invited to a biscuits and sausage gravy fundraiser at the Loren Shriver Community Center tomorrow from 9-11am. The meal is a free-will donation, with proceeds going to the Paton Public Library and the city for new playground equipment.
Library Director Kimberly Bohnet says the City recently received a grant to purchase new playground equipment for the city park. The library is also helping to support raising additional funds for the project, as well as needing funding to support themselves. She points out that people should attend the fundraiser because both the city park and library are part of the foundation in the Paton community, and having a safe, fun and comfortable place to learn, grow and socialize is important.
No pre-registration is necessary for tomorrow’s event.
