Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School has 25 girls out for track and field and a majority are underclassmen.

Head Coach Colin Shawgo says that they have 19 girls on their team that are young so it will take time to get experience.

“Focus on that growth piece by the end of the season. I really do think that we could have a very successful year and we could be talking about five or six different events competing at Drake Stadium at the State meet.”

The next AC/GC track and field meet will be at Greene County High School on March 28th.
