Bryce Stalder
Senior Bryce Stalder is an all-around athlete for the Greene County Rams. The senior has twice been the football district Offensive Player of the Year, is a two-time all-conference basketball player, is a track & field State place winner, and plans on playing baseball beyond high school at Grand View University in Des Moines.
Stalder went 22′ 6″ in the long jump last season and was on the Class 2A fourth place shuttle hurdle relay team at the 2021 State Coed Meet in Des Moines. Also a Drake Relays veteran, he talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the two biggest meets for a track & field athlete in our state. “Like Coach Morton always says, you have to attack Drake just like it’s just another meet and just perform as well as you can and take care of the opportunity to compete against some of the best jumpers in all the other classes. State is a little bit different because you’re just focusing on those in your class and that’s a little bit different.”
The Rams have their third and final indoor meet this Saturday at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake at the Coed Elite Meet for high schoolers.
