Adel-DeSoto-Minburn girls soccer will be looking to put together a strong showing this upcoming 2022 season, as the program will be looking to see if they can make it back to the state tournament for the first time since 2019.
A year ago this team went 11-6 and 6-3 in Raccoon River Conference play, as they fell in the semifinals of their substate and weren’t able to qualify for state. The Tigers lost four players off of that team due to graduation including Ashlyn Watt, who was able to lead the team in goals last year with 29.
This is a Tiger program that has four seniors on their roster this year in Katie Cullen, Carly Kuhse, Hallie Henfling, and Claire Greenslade. The team also has five juniors and ten sophomores on the varsity roster as well according to Varsity Bound. This is a Tiger program that has seen a lot of success in the last decade, with the program between 2016-19 putting up at least 15 wins each season including a pair of state semifinal appearances.
Tiger soccer will be continuing on with practice this week and next, before they play their first match of the year on Monday, March 28th against the Norwalk Warriors in Adel.
