Adel-Desoto-Minburn boys soccer will be expected to field another strong team in 2022, as they put together a good season last year that ended up resulting in a state semifinal appearance.

The Tigers were able to go 15-5 from a year ago and finish 2nd in the Raccoon River Conference with a 8-1 record. That included a substate championship victory and a state quarterfinal win over Pella 2-1, before eventually bowing out in the state semifinals against the eventual champion Cedar Rapids – Xavier 2-1. The Tigers graduated key players at the forward, midfield, defender, and goalie positions, but they will be bringing back some key players that were on the team last year, as they will have some new faces on the roster.

Bill Shields is back for another year as coach, as the ADM program has seen a ton of success under his guidance as coach.

ADM will be having a scrimmage on Tuesday, March 29th against Des Moines Christian and then will be playing in their first match of the season on Thursday, March 31st at Raccoon River Conference foe North Polk.
