The Dallas County Board of Supervisors discussed an architect master contract amendment at their regular meeting Tuesday.

The Board chose not to approve the amendment which updates the planning of projects where architectural services are provided for projects selected from the master plan due to wanting to discuss the changes with Dallas County Attorney Chuck Sinnard.

Also, the Board approved the canvass of the Linden special election and received the post election audit certificate. The Board then approved City of Redfield Law Enforcement service 28E agreement which changes it to a five-year agreement.

The Board then discussed a rezone for Nick Williams and Wally Pelds that relates to creating a conservation area and wanting to rezone the area to planned unit developments. The Board voted to continue the public hearing to next week to gather more information.

Additionally, the Board set a time on date for a public hearing on a wetland easement for March 22nd at 9:30 a.m. and approved a farm lease amendment between Dallas County and Des Moines Area Community College moving multiple acres from cropland to general county land.
