There will be another daycare center coming to Panora.

Panorama DayCare Center will be coming to Panora and will serve 80 child care slots.  Co-Owner Amanda Creen says this new daycare center has been in the plans for a while now but ran into an issue.

“As we were working on the acquisition of the building, we found out that it was actually zoned in a light industrial zone, which didn’t allow for school type structures.”

Creen says at the last Panora Board of Adjustment meeting they approved a special exception to run a daycare center at 1301 East Church Street. Creen adds they also received a large grant from Future Ready Iowa for $450,000 to make renovations to the building and expect to open this summer.
