Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements for James Rice, 68, of Scranton.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Rice, and daughter-in-law, Brittany of Boone; daughters: Lisa Wolf of Iowa City, Rachel Rice, and Michelle Rice of California; grandson, Christian Rice and numerous more grandchildren; and brother Rick Rice of North Carolina.
