Throughout the month of March, more programming will return at the Adel Public Library for people to enjoy.
Adel Public Library Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says March will hold the return of some programs including early childhood programming. Puck says it was a challenge to hold the programming throughout the winter.
“We are really excited to get our early child programming back, our patrons have missed it greatly. Due to COVID it was a bit of a challenge over winter time and so we decided to put a hold on it until the weather started getting a little bit better.”
Puck tells Raccoon Valley Radio early childhood programming will return on March 15th beginning at 10 a.m. Puck says Tuesdays will be for a storytime and Thursdays will be for discovery time. Puck says it’s a good feeling to have programming return.
“We are very excited to be able to open our doors to more programming. Everybody was disappointed in the restrictions that we put in place just as safety measures but with this spring we are actively planning on a weekly basis now and we have a great outpouring of support from our patrons in participating in this programming especially with the early childhood.”
