Greene County High School had several students qualify for state individual speech.

Speech Coach Kelley Gray says  students that received a Division I-rating at the district speech competition this past Saturday advance to the state contest. Those students include Esther Van Horn for prose, Allee Hinote for poetry, Eliot Schilling for literary program and Rym Gherari for expository address. The other students who competed on Saturday and received a Division II-rating included Hinote for reviewing, Nina Tabinanda for poetry, and Bella Linberg and Olivia Hoyt for prose.

Greene County will go to Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School on March 12th for the Iowa High School Speech Association State Individual Contest.
