As the calendar gets ready to flip over into the month of March, another round of farmers markets are coming up with the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
The Spring Market will officially begin at 11 a.m. March 19th at the Perry Public Library. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says due to the popularity of farmers markets in Perry more markets are being coordinated including this spring market.
“We are going to be doing that again, once a month, at the (Perry Public) Library. So, that’ll be March, April, May before our summer market starts. So, that’ll be on the third Saturday of the month.”
Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio there will be a number of vendors that will be participating in the markets throughout the spring.
“We will have a number of vendors set up there for your favorite baked goods. Some of our farmer market vendors have ways to extend their growing season so we will actually start seeing some produce sooner than you might think.”
