The most recent Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board meeting saw the Board approve some changes to the Return to Learn Plan.
The Board approved changes to the Return to Learn Plan to update the language for staff and students who return following a positive COVID-19 test. Superintendent Greg Dufoe talks about the changes.
“We had two changes and it was specifically around isolation guidance for students and staff who have a positive test and we simply followed the most recent CDC and Iowa Department of Public Health guidance that allows students and staff to return to work or school after five days following a positive test if they wear a mask on day six through ten. So, those were the changes.”
The Return to Learn Plan is required to be updated every six months through September 30th, 2023. The Board approved the changes to the Return to Learn Plan at their February 14th Board meeting.
