ADM boys basketball will be participating in first round action tonight against the Nevada Cubs for class 3A Substate 6, with the Tigers looking to make a strong postseason run. The Tigers come into the matchup with a 9-12 record while Nevada enters with a 16-5 mark.

The Tigers will be hoping that a flip to the postseason can reverse their recent fortunes after ending their regular season on a three game losing streak. The Cubs on the other hand have been very good as of late, as they have been able to put up a seven game winning streak.

These are two foes that haven’t faced each other since 2009, so whoever can adjust to each others style more quickly will put themselves in an advantage. Nevada scores the basketball at a high rate averaging 64.8 points per game, ADM will have to slow them down very quickly.
