If you are interested in purchasing plants ahead of the warmer months, a local fundraiser has that opportunity. 

The Friends of the Minburn Library currently has a fundraiser going until May 15th where people can purchase from a large variety of spring produce including a juicy tomato garden to a sunflower collection. Library Director Nicole Connick explains more about the fundraiser.

“They can order whatever and they ship it directly to them and then on May 15th when the fundraiser closes then we get 50-percent of what was sold and we are just starting up a new food pantry and have a couple other programming ideas and so we were just looking for a little extra cash to get those things off the ground and so we decided to do this fundraiser.”
