Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center basketball season ends for the boys team.

AC/GC loses in the second round to cross town rival Panorama 59-47. The Chargers had a remarkable year winning 17 games along with winning 13 conference games. Miles Kading played his last game as a Charger and the 2021-22 season was special for him averaging 19 points per game and 6.5 rebounds and scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds on senior night against Madrid and tied the school record for points in a game with teammate Ben Marsh. Congrats to the rest of the seniors that played their last game Dallas Jacobe and Preston Kopaska.

At the State Wrestling meet in Des Moines ACGC’s Tegan Slaybaugh was able to win his first match in the 113 division against Cole Frost from Don Bosco. Slaybaugh won the match 10-1. Slaybaugh will be back at the Wells Fargo Arena at 12:30 today.
