The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board approved a GoGuardian Suite agreement at their regular meeting this past Monday. 

The Board approved a three year agreement for $33,216.50 for the GoGuardian Suite which filters web traffic. Also, the Board approved a three year agreement for $15,670.50 for the GoGuardian Beacon which helps detect signs of self-harm or suicide and threats to student safety.

Also, the Board approved an agreement for VMware support and subscription renewal in the amount of $15,700 for ADM’s virtual server environment. The Board also approved the purchase of a new bus from Hoglund Bus Company in the amount of $130,000. 

Finally, the Board approved 2022-23 staffing additions that are needed due to recent growth in the District, Return to Learn Plan 2021-22 update and a bond and disclosure counsel engagement agreement with Ahlers and Cooney for the refunding of general obligation bonds.
