Brianna Habben was the lone senior on the 2021-22 Greene County High School girls’ basketball team. The post player led the Rams in several categories including scoring and rebounding, where she nearly posted a statistical “double-double” for the season. Habben averaged 9.8 points and 10.7 rebounds for the 3-19 Rams. She also shot 35.6% from the floor, more than 10% higher than the team average. Habben made 65.3% of free throw attempts, which was 20% above what the entire team made.
The Rams, under first year head coach Tori Ogden, sat at 1-16 before closing the regular season with two wins in their last four games. They lost 63-13 in the opening round of Class 3A regional play on Saturday night in Sergeant Bluff to number 5 Sergeant Bluff-Luton to end the season.
