Greene County ISU Extension is preparing to host its next free Ag Coffee series.

The program will be held this Friday from 9:30-11am at the Greene County Extension office in Jefferson with the main topic concerning the federal Farm Bill. ISU Extension Farm Management Specialist Alexis Stevens will lead the discussion. Additionally, farmers are reminded about the deadline to sign up for either the Agriculture Risk Coverage or the Price Loss Coverage with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency is March 15th. 

The February Ag Coffee is free to attend, due to the sponsorship of Heartland Bank in Jefferson. Free refreshments will also be provided. Registration is required by contacting the Extension office at 515-386-2138 or stopping by to sign up.
