With the state wrestling tournament preparing to kick off this week, there will be a few representatives from Dallas County. 

For 2A Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School wrestlers Jacob Alexander qualified in the 113 pound class and Aiden Flora qualified in the 132 pound class. For Perry High School Cole Nelson qualified for state in the 138 pound class. 

For 3A Dallas Center-Grimes wrestler Logan Gard was able to qualify at 132 pounds, Jacob Fistler moved on to the state tournament for the 152 pound class and Connor Pertzsch was able to move on in the 182 pound class.

The three day state wrestling tournament will run from February 17th-19th at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will have live coverage of wrestlers from area schools during the tournament.
