An Adel man has been charged with attempted murder after an incident occurred this past Tuesday. 

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office filed a criminal complaint for 21-year-old Tyler Scott Delaney of Adel for the Class B Felony of attempted murder. Delaney is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $500,000 cash only bond. 

According to the Sheriff’s Office they received a 911 call at approximately 9:44 p.m. February 8th from a witness stating that a person had just been stabbed and was laying in the street at 909 1st Street in Redfield. 

A deputy arrived at 9:46 p.m. and assisted others on the scene with providing aid to the victim. Shortly after arriving the deputy determined that the person who stabbed the victim was still there and Delaney was detained. 

Redfield First Responders and Dallas County EMS also responded to the scene. The victim, Hunter Rio Randall Keasy, of Dallas Center was transported to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
