It’s the start of the girls’ high school basketball postseason for Greene County tonight at Sergeant Bluff-Luton at 7 p.m. on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com in Class 3A Region 2. Coach Tori Ogden’s Rams are 3-18 and the host Warriors are 17-4 and ranked fifth in 3A by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The Rams have won two of their last four contests and all three wins are against teams with either one or two victories on the season. SB-L is averaging 56 points per game and plays in the Missouri River Conference with Sioux City and Council Bluffs Schools. The Rams, from the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference, averaged 25.5 points per game.

The winner advances to the next round on Feb. 16 vs. either Atlantic or Shenandoah.
