The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department has a couple of programs starting up soon.

Indoor Youth Soccer is for kids in grades 3rd through 6th and is designed to help participants learn how to play indoor soccer, while also developing footwork and balance. The program will be on Mondays from February 14th-March 7th from 5:30-6:10pm for 3rd and 4th graders and 6:15-7:15pm for 5th and 6th graders at the Greene County Community Center. Cost to participate is $15 for community center members and $20 for non-members. Deadline to sign up is February 13th.

A 6-on-6 Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League will be on Sunday afternoons starting February 20th. There is a limit of ten players per team, with a balance and males and females. A minimum of four teams are needed for the league, with a maximum of eight teams. Matches will take place at 2pm at the community center. Team registration fees are $75 and are due by February 14th.
