Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball found out about their district rate on Wednesday, and they were able to get a first round bye in their six team district. ADM is currently 10-11, and will be taking on the winner of Perry/Des Moines Hoover on Saturday, February 19th.
ADM has played Perry this season in Adel and were able to grab the victory in the matchup. The Tigers have not faced Des Moines Hoover this season.
On the other side of the bracket, Boone will take on Webster City in the first round before the winner will take on the top seed Dallas Center – Grimes. The winner of that game will play the winner of the ADM game in the regional championship on Tuesday, February 22nd, with the game to take place at the highest remaining ranked team.
For ADM, they will have one more tune up game tomorrow night when they take on the Carroll Tigers at home, as they will hope to build some positive momentum into the postseason.
