The Perry Chamber of Commerce will be hosting another fun annual event this weekend in Perry.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says this Saturday will be the 19th Annual Chocolate Walk from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pasutti says there are 15 businesses on the passport ticket for people to go and visit to then enter in for the potential to win a prize.

“Go around to each place, get some chocolate and then enter in your ticket at the end of the day at the Hotel (Pattee) for a chance to win the grand prize which is a Valentine’s dinner for two either that night on Saturday or on Valentine’s Day on the 14th.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio the event is a good way for people to enjoy chocolate-themed treats as well as specials at the various shops.  Pasutti says another event will be going on at the same time.

“As well as the Winter Farmers Market that is happening at the Perry Public Library at the same time, or close to. So, the farmers market will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.”
