There was a widespread power outage in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area Monday morning.

According to Guthrie County Rural Electric Cooperative two of their substations, Diamondhead Lake and Hawkeye had a supply issue from the transmission line. These outages affected the following communities Dexter, Redfield, Stuart and Menlo. The power outages occurred around 8am and the power came back on around 9am.
