The Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams took the court again Friday night for another important conference matchup as the Des Moines Christian Lions came to Panorama High School.

The Panthers girls basketball team headed into Friday night’s game against the Des Moines Christian Lions looking to hand the Lions their first conference loss of the season. The Panthers girls were able to grind out a quality win over the Lions girls in a defensive battle that saw the score of 32-23 in favor of the Panthers girls.

The Panthers girls were able to improve their conference record to 13-0 remaining undefeated against conference opponents this season while having 19-1 overall record on the season.

For the Panthers boys they headed into Friday night’s matchup looking to get another conference win. The Panthers boys came into Friday’s game with an overall record of 13-5 on the season and 10-2 in conference play. After four quarters of basketball the score of the game was 64-53 in favor of the visiting Lions. The Panthers boys fell to 13-6 on the season and 10-3 in conference play.

The Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams have one week of games left in the regular season and will take the court again next week on Tuesday when they head to Ogden to take on the Bulldogs. The girls will get their game started at 6 p.m. while the boys will tip off at 7:30 p.m.
