Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center boys basketball wins in a nail biter against Pleasantville last night.
The final score was 59-57 the Chargers get their 16th victory with Ben Marsh scoring a layup with 30 seconds left in the game and Brock Littler getting a steal at the end of regulation to seal the win. Jedd Weinkoetz provided six three pointers for a total 20 points along with Ben Marsh scoring 16 points. The Chargers improve to 16-4 on the season and winners of five straight. “I mean, we’ve just started, we’ve moved the ball more, share the wealth, obviously, with Jed (Weinkoetz) scoring 20 tonight and a bunch of threes as we’re working together as a team more, we’re coming along, so we got to keep that going going forward.”
The Lady Chargers fall Pleasantville 38-70 and their record is now 10-10 on the season.
Both programs will take the court for senior night on Tuesday against Madrid with the games starting at 6:15pm.
