For one Perry woman her efforts playing a statewide game resulted in her winning a large sum of money.
Judy Crabtree of Perry recently won the third top prize of $100,000 in the Iowa Lottery’s “Jewel 7’s” scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at the Hy-Vee in Perry and recently claimed her prize at the Iowa Lottery headquarters in Clive.
“Jewel 7’s” is a $10 scratch game that has eight top prizes of $100,000. Since the lottery began in 1985, players have won more than $5 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $2.2 billion for state programs.
