Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls basketball will be out on the court tonight for Little Hawkeye Conference action, where they will be taking on the Pella Dutch on the road.

DCG girls are 15-3 on the year and the boys are currently 12-4, both teams coming off of nice wins over Pella Christian on Tuesday night. Both of the teams are at the top of the Little Hawkeye Conference, so wins will keep both in solo possession of first place.

In the boys game, Pella was able to win in Grimes in the first matchup between the two teams, as Pella won 62-57. Both of these teams have played very close games in the last few contests, and tonight should be no different for two of the top teams in 3A.

The DCG girls are number 1 in the latest IGHSAU 4A poll, as they have been terrific in the 2022 year, as they haven’t lost a game since Johnston in December. The Mustangs were able to grab the victory in the first matchup between the two teams with a score of 54-25.

The girls varsity game will be happening at 6:15 with the boys to follow around 7:45, as both teams will be looking for quality wins tonight.
