Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls basketball have a big month of February on the calendar with postseason action in the near future, and will be beginning that big month tonight when they welcome the Pella Christian Eagles to Grimes for a big conference matchup. DCG will come into the boys game with a 11-4 record and the Eagles will counter with a 12-4 record. The girls game will include a DCG team that is 14-3 and the Pella Christian girls at 2-15.

On the boys side, Mustang basketball was able to put together one of their most complete performances of the season when they were able to grab a 62-40. Mustang basketball is able to have a five game winning streak in the series, and will be looking to shake off a recent two game losing streak.

On the girls side, DCG was able to win easily in the first contest by the score of 56-13, with the game being one of the best defensive performances that the Mustangs have been able to put together this season.

DCG will be having their girls game tip off at 6:15 with the boys game to follow at 7:45, as both teams will be looking to find the win column in a big night of hoops.
