Thursday, January 27th

4:44am: Jeff Niles reported his car alarm had activated at 903 West Lincoln Way Street. The vehicle was in a garage, and the officer did not locate any signs of a forced entry. Nothing was missing from the vehicle, or garage.

8:18am: Everette Beebe reported overnight Trespassers walking through his yard at 208 North Olive Street. He provided the officer with video of the event.

11:04am: An officer spotted a Known Wanted Male in a vehicle at 204 North Locust Street. The officer arrested Zachary Allen Watters-Rice, 25 of Jefferson, on the outstanding Greene County Warrant for, “Violation of a Court Order.”

11:46am: Nicole Tasler requested a Welfare Check on a female client in the 600 Block of South Vine Street. The officer had knowledge that the subject was in the hospital and advised Tasler.

2:23pm: A Traffic Stop at Mulberry and Gallop Road resulted in Kolton Showers of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”

4:07pm: Julie Byerly advised she had received a text message from an unknown subject requesting nude photos be sent to them. The officer warned Byerly that this is a Scam and not to reply.

6:28pm: Hometown Security advised of an Alarm Activation at 400 North Elm Street. The business owner called and advised he had just left, and must have tripped the alarm. He was going back to make sure all was good.
