The AC/GC will meet up with I-35 today in Truro.
The Chargers will play Interstate-35 for the first time this year on the road. AC/GC boys basketball sits at the top of the West Central Activities Conference at fourth with a record of 12-4 and will face I-35 who sits in the bottom half of the conference with a record of 5-9. The Roadrunners are a led by five seniors that score an average of 40 points out of their game average of 48. AC/GC will rely on their senior guard Miles Kading to continue score the ball, averaging close to 20 points in the three games and Junior Brock Littler is coming off a game where he made a school record six 3 pointers.
The Lady Chargers also is fourth in the West Central Activities Conference (10-7) and will look to get another conference victory on the road. Interstate 35 is behind the pack in the bottom of the conference with a record of 2-10. AC/GC will have to defend I-35’s forward Josie McCuddin who averages 13 points per game and 9 rebounds per game. And AC/GC’s Mersadez Richter will look to stay hot scoring 14 points and 6 rebounds against Southwest Valley.
The girls game will start at 6:15pm and the boys will start after at 7:30 both games will be broadcasted on the mobile app KKRF-2 and on Raccoonvalleyradio.com.
