Greene County ISU Extension is hosting its second Ag Coffee program later this week.
Greene County Extension Director Lori Mannel says “Planning Your Spring Garden” will be led by ISU Agriculture Field Specialist Mike Witt and attendees will learn tips and information about starting up their gardens later this year. She points out this informal program is for everybody.
“Our ISU agronomist (Mike Witt) said, ‘Why don’t we try something like this?’ I’m excited that it’s certainly ag and horticulture related, but it’s also for any of those that are professional farmers or professional ag individuals.”
The free program is sponsored by Jefferson Bomgaars and it will take place Friday from 9:30-11am at the Extension Office in Jefferson. No pre-registration is necessary.
