Governor Kim Reynolds recently announced funding for some Dallas County communities which will assist with water quality.
Through the Wastewater and Drinking Water Treatment Financial Assistance Program, which was created in 2018, Adel will be receiving $300,000 toward a new wastewater treatment facility which costs approximately $17.3 million.
Also the City of Perry is receiving $500,000 toward a new wastewater treatment facility which costs approximately $30.3 million and is currently being worked on. This assistance program has helped roughly 33 communities with $9 million in water quality grants.
